Season Four-Episode Twelve

It's Magic Week in Sioux City, Iowa, and The Incredible Jay, an older magician. is fumbling through a magic trick at a bar. Another magician, Patrick Vance, drunkenly mocks him from down the bar. Jay wanders over and ruins the trick. Later on stage, Jay reviews a young upcoming performer, Jeb Dexter with Charlie and Vernon, who aren't thrilled with the younger crowd. Jay admits that he's a joke and they're all three old dying magicians. He declares he's going to do the Table of Death illusion over the other two men's objections. It's dangerous, but Jay doesn't care.

Later, Jay performs the Table of Death, which involves him strapped to a table as a bed of spikes are lowered on him from above. Charlie warns that the bindings are tight and wonders if Jay can slip them. He draws the curtain and looks nervously at Vernon, then lights the rope. Outside, Vance staggers outside. Inside, Jay tries to get free while outside, Jay wanders down the street. The spikes fall on Jay.. and Vance collapses, dead from multiple puncture wounds. On stage, a surprised Jay emerges to applause and amazed looks from his friends.

Sam and Dean arrive in town and watch Jeb Dexter performing on the street, doing a card trick while faking demonic possession. Dean finds the idea of fake magic offensive, while Sam remembers when he did magic when he was 13. They talk to Vance's female assistant, who says that Vance stole material from other magicians. She did find one unusual thing in Vance's belongings: a Tarot card, the Ten of Swords, showing a man impaled. Vance hated card tricks and the woman doesn't know who it belonged to.

Jay is in his room when Charlie visits him and asks how he did it. Jay demonstrates his newfound talent and says he wants to do the Executioner, another death-defying illusion. Charlie warns that he's pushing his luck but Jay says it wasn't luck. Charlie says he'll do anything for him but he won't watch Jay die. Jay says that he'll be there, same as always for his friend, and Charlie gives in.

As Jeb Dexter interviews Jay, Dean talks to Vernon and Charlie and shows him the Tarot card. Vernon used to use Tarot cards in his act but says he hasn't touched a deck in years. The two magician direct him to a dealer, Chief, who Vance crossed a year or so ago. Dean goes to see the man and discovers the Chief is a sexual dominator.

Sam is doing research at his hotel room when Ruby comes by. She wants to know why he's wasting time when 34 of the Seals have been broken and the angels are losing. Ruby wants him to go after Lilith and says he's the only one who can stop her. She tells him to deal with Lilith but he's got a problem with what's involved. She tells him to admit that he likes using his powers but he refuses. She tells him to let her know when he's ready and leaves.

Later, Dean finds Sam at the performance. Vernon wants to know if Charlie tried to talk Jay out of performing the illusion, but Charlie says that there was something in Jay's eyes. Dean confronts the two magicians but he knows they're fakes. They claim they're aspiring magicians and Charlie tells them to stick around and watch. Jay presents the Executioner, where he is put in a straitjacket and has one minute to escape a hangman's noose. As Jay tries to escape, a noose in Jeb dressing room come to life. As Jay's time runs out, the noose drops around Jeb's neck and strangles him.

Sam is sure that Jay's escape was impossible. He checks Jay's background and discovers he was famous in the 70s but got old. They figure he's using magic to make a comeback. When Dean hopes he'll die before he gets old, Sam wonders if they'll still be chasing demons when they're 60, but Dean figure with their life they'll be dead long before then. Sam wonders if there's a way they could win once and for all, and Dean wonders if there's something going on. Sam denies it and Dean figures there's no end to the demons.

Back at the theater, Sam and Dean discover that Jeb is dead and Dean has found a Tarot card representing The Hanged Man. Jeb was a douchebag to Jay and Vance heckled him at the bar. They figure Jay slipped the cards onto his victims. Sam admits that Jay managed to slip him. They go to his hotel room and burst in, telling him about the Tarot cards. He denies knowing anything about real magic or that Jeb is dead. When he doesn't throw spells at them, they tie up Jay and try to figure out who is responsible. They prepare to ask him but discover he's escaped his ropes. They go out to look and once they're gone, he slips out of the closet and calls the police. The cops arrest Dean and Sam in the lobby.

Later, Jay talks to Charlie and explains what the Winchesters said. He wonders if they might be right, noting it was impossible for him to do all the things he's done. Charlie says the idea of real magic is nuts, but Jay considers backing out. Charlie tells his that for the first time in years he has a full house. Jay admits that he was planning to die during the Table of Death, and has no idea how he escaped. Charlie says it doesn't matter and he's happy to see Jay at the top of his act again.

That night, Jay performs the Table of Death again and succeeds. There's a scream and backstage Charlie is dead, punctured repeatedly through the chest.

Sam and Dean get out of jail after Jay drops the charges. He explains that Charlie bailed him out of trouble repeatedly when he was younger, and he wants to find who is responsible. Sam explains that the killer must be close to him and note that Vernon is the only remaining suspect. Jay doesn't believe it but Dean warns that using magic is addictive.

Vernon is in his hotel room when Jay calls and asks him to come to the theater. Once Vernon is gone, Sam and Dean break into Vernon's room and search for the Tarot cards. Meanwhile, Vernon arrives and tells Jay that he's the new headliner. Jay says he can't do it but Vernon insists that it's their shot at fame. Jay accuses Vernon of killing Charlie but Vernon denies it. He's interrupted when a man steps out from behind the curtain: a young Charlie.

In Vernon's room, Dean finds an antique poster of a younger Charlie as The Great Dessertini.

The young Charlie explains that he's been around since Barnum's time, and received a book of magic with a spell for immortality. He insists that Jay wanted fame, and is still his friend and always will be. He offers both of them youth and doesn't want to start over again by himself. Dean and Sam arrive but Charlie conjures a hangman's rope to strangle Dean. When Sam fires his gun, Charlie catches the bullet in his teeth then disappears off-stage. Sam tells him to give it up and Charlie fakes surrender, then shoves Sam onto the Table of Death and fastens him down. The rope holding the spikes starts to part. However, Charlie suddenly collapses, bleeding from the stomach. Jay has pickpocket his Tarot cards and left him the Magician, then stabbed himself. Charlie wonders how Jay could choose strangers over him, then falls over dead. Sam and Dean are freed just in time.

Later, Sam and Dean join Jay at the bar to thank him. The magician has lost his supernatural skill and wonders how they can thank him for killing his best friend. Vernon has left, refusing to speak to Jay again. Dean tries to reassure him he did the right thing, but Jay points out he has to spend the rest of his life old and alone and there's nothing right about that. Dean suggests they have a beer but Sam goes for a walk. Outside, Ruby is waiting for him in her car. Sam says she's in. She asks what changed his mind, and he says he doesn't want to be hunting monsters when he's an old man.

Supernatural: Family Remains

Season Four-Episode Eleven

At a farmhouse, Bill Gibson is watching TV when the lights go out. He goes to the fuse box but discovers that the door won't open. A door opens behind him and a pale woman comes in. The man recognizes her but says it's impossible for her to be there. He lunges at her and his blood flies everywhere.

Sam wakes up to discover Dean has pulled over and is eagerly looking for another case to take on. Sam figures that his brother is trying to keep occupied to avoid thinking about his time as a torturer in Hell. Dean ignores him and finds a report of a man killed in a locked room, in Stratton, Nebraska. They figure it's a ghost and head for the farmhouse. They go into the house, unaware that it's already been sold. Inside they find a sealed-over dumbwaiter and a decapitated doll's head, and high EMP readings. However, Dean is skeptical there's anything to be found.

The new family, the Carters, arrive with their furniture and the Winchesters realize the house has been sold. The daughter, Kate, isn't happy at the luck of reception and appeals to her uncle, Ted. The father, Brian, is less than thrilled when Ted agrees with Kate and his wife Susan tells him to take it easy. Kate notices Dean and Sam coming out of the house. The brothers claim to be county code enforcers there to inspect the problem. They say there's asbestos in the house, making it inhabitable. The brothers direct the family to a nearby hotel and Brian agrees to one night.

The brothers talk to the local housekeeper, Mrs. Curry, who confirms that Bill Gibson was brutally killed. She notes that Gibson kept to himself after his wife died in childbirth and his daughter hung himself. She gives them photos of the family but doesn't know why the daughter hung herself. Mrs. Curry does remember that she heard rustling in the walls but never saw any rats. She also confirms that the dead women were cremated.

The Carters go back to the house and Ted confirms there isn't any asbestos. Kate thinks she sees something in an upstairs window but dismisses it as imagination, and Susan tries to reassure her it'll be great there. Kate is skeptical.

That night, the son Danny is playing video games in his room when the closet door opens on its own and a baseball rolls out. He introduces himself and rolls the ball back in, and someone tosses it out.

Downstairs, Brian is in the kitchen and smells something dead in the closet. Susan wonders what they're doing there and Brian assures her they'll be happy there. Susan says she can't put the kids through another year like the one they just had.

Outside, the Winchester pull up and realize the family has moved back in. Meanwhile, Ted finds a message written in the wall in crayon, saying "Go." Brian thinks Danny is responsible and calls him down. Danny denies writing the message but his parents don't believe him. He claims the girl in the walls did it and wants them to go but Danny to stay. He warns that the girl will get mad if the grownups don't go. Danny says Andy would have believed them and Brian sends him up to his room.

Kate is trying to sleep that night and complains to the dog, Buster. It starts licking her hand from the floor but then the closet door opens and Buster comes out. Kate screams as she realizes something else was there and sees it duck into the closet. The family comes to investigate and Danny says it's the girl in the wall. Dean and Sam knock and come in, and Brian wonders if they're responsible. Dean warns them to get out but the lights go out and they hear Buster whimpering outside. They run outside with Brian and Ted and find a trail of blood leading to the car, and the words "Too late" written in blood on the side. The Winchesters try to convince them to leave and Brian agrees to go. However, they discover that something has flattened all the tires and stolen all their ghost-hunting equipment. Kate sees a girl in the woods but it disappears before anyone else can see it.

Dean and Sam get everyone inside and lay down a salt line. Brian is skeptical and prepares to leave but Sam convinces them to stay. He shows Kate the photos and she and Danny recognize the dead daughter Rebecca. Sam tells the Carters what they know and Ted wants to go out, but Dean threatens him into staying put. Sam goes up to the attic where Rebecca hung herself, but the others soon hear noises and the ghost of Rebecca enters the room. She approaches the salt line and then steps over it while drawing a knife. Dean gets the family out and tries to drive off what he now realizes is a human with a poker, and Sam arrives and drives it off with the beam of his flashlight.

The brothers go outside and assemble the family, while Sam reveals he found Rebecca's diary in the attic. They can't find Danny and Dean tells them to take refuge in the boarded-up shed. Brian tells Kate and Susan to go there while the Winchesters, Brian, and Ted, split up to search. Dean and Ted search inside and Dean finds a hidden panel in the wall. There's a passageway between the walls and the two men go inside. They find a tunnel leading down and Dean reluctantly goes down. He finds the dead dogs that the girl has been feeding on and a drawing of two stick figures. Above, Ted hears a noise, turns, and the girl stabs him through the head.

Outside, Sam and Brian find no sign of Danny and go back to the shed. Dean arrives and tells them that Ted is dead. Dean goes back outside while Sam reads Rebecca's diary. Brian tries to comfort Susan, who asks why bad things keep happening to them. Brian tells her that the same thing won't happen to Danny that happened to Andy. Brian goes outside and Dean asks him about Danny. Andy died in a car accident a year ago and Brian admits it's put a strain on his marriage. They moved there for a fresh start. Dean vows he'll get Danny back and Brian wonders why he cared. Sam interrupts and gets Dean inside. He explains that the girl is Rebecca's daughter, and Bill Gibson's daughter as well. Gibson locked the girl up until she finally escaped and killed her father. Dean figures out where the girl is keeping Danny.

Danny wakes up in a basement area, bound and gagged. The girl approaches him and offers him a rat. She breaks its neck and starts eating it as Danny screams.

The brothers break through the wall over the dumbwaiter and Dean insists on going down to rescue Danny. As he goes down, Sam starts putting together a rope out of curtains. Meanwhile, the girl breaks into the shed.

In the basement, Dean finds their guns and locates Danny. He says "he" is coming back, and explains it's the girl's brother. The brother attacks Dean while Sam lowers the rope to Danny and pulls him up. Outside, the girl stabs through the walls of the shed as she tries to get at them.

Brian gets Danny out of the house while Dean tries to fend off the brother. Dean blinds him with the flashlight long enough to grab his gun and shoot the boy.

The girl busts in and attacks Susan… and is yanked backwards. Susan and Kate listen as they hear screaming noises outside. Brian comes in, holding a bloody knife. Dean and Sam come out and find the girl's corpse.

The next day, the Carters are packing while Sam and Dean load their equipment back into the Impala. Brian is giving them time to leave before he calls in the police, and thanks them for their help. Susan admits they're not okay but at least they're together. Down the road, the Winchesters pull over and Dean admits that he can sympathize with the Gibson children. Sam points out that they were barely human and Dean wasn't like them. Dean agrees, saying he was worse. He notes they were animals defending their territory, but he liked torturing souls in Hell. No matter how many people he saves now, he can't change what he did.

It's amazing how quick things can change. . .

To begin this particular blog off on a cheery note, last night's Jared-fest was awesome! lol Emma and I hired House Of Wax, Cry_Wolf, New York Minute, A Cinderella Story and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. Okay, so Jared-and-Chad-fest. We also watched season one episodes of Gilmore Girl's. So that was awesome. Mountain Dew, Kit-Kat's, Killer Pythons, Cookies and Cream icecream! It was epic, what more can you ask for?! I know what, Rooster Roll from Red Rooster lol. Finally got one!!

So yeah, did that last night. Then went to Emily's new house this afternoon. It's awesome. High roof and brick walls inside! So that was also good.

And then I come home and see a letter on the bench for me. It made me cry. I use this blog as an outlet. I'm pretty much too lazy to hand write anything cause my hand hurts afterwards! So, instead, I write everything in here. I don't write everything, but I write enough to paint a picture. Also, I wasn't aware that anyone actually read this. I just figured that no one would be bothered to read anything that I've written, or that no one knew I even had this. However, apparently people do know about my blog. And apparently people do read it. So there you go!

Anyway, this letter. I really didn't expect it. I especially didn't expect the content of it either. And I think after all these years of keeping to myself and not letting anyone in, it's weird to suddenly have people worried about me. I don't want people to worry, that wasn't my intention. Nevertheless, I think that for me, because someone who I idolize and think is totally awesome, for them to suddenly send me this letter, it made me sad. In a good way.

I don't know. I just thought I'd mention that. For future reference.

And in other news,, school. Gosh. I don't really think they are any words that can accurately describe the amount of petty, childish behaviour that's been going on. Well, I don't know. It's just stupid. It's like, no matter what we do it's never good enough for others. I know that Emma, Emily and I have become close since the beginning of the year. Actually, it's pretty much been since the end of last year. But still, according to everyone else we "know too much about each other". As a result everyone else is "getting left out". Now, I don't know why 3 people being friends with each other would be a problem, but apparently it is. Not only that, but it seems as if all of this is just an excuse to get angry and cause confrontation between everyone. I can't stand conflict and I do anything to get out of it, but I'm just not in the mood as of late to be caring about things that I don't have to be caring about. It's ridiculous. I just don't want all this added awkwardness and that feeling of walking on egg shells and constantly being self-conscious of whether or not my actions are satisfactory enough. Gah! Stupid!

Anyways, there's my slight update.

Nothing But The Ramblings Of A Mad Teenage Girl...

First of all - bought 21st Century Breakdown today. Yep, and it's awesome.
blink-182 are touring again.! Hell yeah! From July-October, it's in the states. But, according to their manager, 2010 they'll go international... Big Day Out... Just so long as they come to Australia and I get to see them, then I'm happy.
Mum finally gave me a book to read yesturday. (I got 3 Supernatural books off Amazon the other day. Supernatural: Bone Key, John Winchester's Journal, and The Offical Companion Season 3). She says that she's not giving them to me because 'I've done nothing to deserve them'. Well, personally I think that's bullshit! But, she gave me Bone Key yesturday, and I read it. It was good!
Oh, yeah. I also sent in a letter/email to TV Week about Supernatural, and it totally got published! LOL. I'll put that futher down for all to see.
The Living End had their concert on Friday. And I didn't get to go. Which sucks! But, I think blink-182 is the top of my priority list at the moment.
So I think that's what's been going on in terms of my multitude of obsessions. . .

Onto other things, last night was really weird. I had some weird crazy breakdown. You know how you get frustrated and overcome with a horrible feeling sometimes. And no matter what you do that feeling gets worse and worse?.. Well, last night I had that feeling. I was gonna text someone, but thought against that. Don't think that's the appropriate thing to do at 1am. Anywayz, it was crazy. In all honesty, I don't think I'm doing all that well. I don't wanna go and seek out help or attention. That means admitting there's something seriously wrong. And for now, I don't think anything is all that serious. But I'm lost for what to do. I really want this constant feeling inside of me to go away. I just want to be able to appreciate things and take things as they come. I wanna be hopeful and have a positive outlook on things. But all the hope and desire in the world doesn't seem to be enough right now. And right now I feel like a douche. Who writes these kind of things? Attention seekers. Gah, I don't want to be an attention seeker. Just ignore me.

Okay, I've decided if you are infact reading this, then I owe you an apology. Please, feel free to stop, I'm about to continue on a little rant.

Last night I was browsing peoples myspaces, and I came across Kirra's. Then from hers I found Jay's. And I pretty much just went and looked at all the swimming peoples myspaces. And I've realised, I really miss them. Like, really miss seeing those guys. I was looking through photos, and gosh, the overwhelming sense of nostalgia I got! I am offically -well it's been offical for a while- but I am no longer part of any sort of group with those guys. I don't see them, I don't talk to them, I don't have anything to do with them. And I don't like it. Some of those guys were my closest friends! And now, what we had, it's gone. And that really sucks! And that pretty much just got me thinking (which I know, can never be a good thing), that everyone else seems to be going somewhere. They have goals and aspirations, and I have nothing. The world around me is fast evolving, moving forward. And I'm stuck!

Well, that's enough from me. Such a riveting read, wasn't it?!

Supernatural: Heaven And Hell

Season Four-Episode Ten

Uriel tells the Winchesters to get out of the way so he can kill Anna. Castiel admits that they're heartless, and says that Anna is worse than a demon. Uriel repeats his demand and when they refuse, the angel smashes Ruby into the wall. Dean tries to attack him but Uriel isn't impressed. Castiel renders Sam unconscious with a touch. He goes to the door to get Anna but suddenly lightning flashes and he and Uriel are sucked outward and upward. They go into the next room and find Anna covered in her blood, which she's used to write a symbol on a nearby mirror. She explains she doesn't know how she sent them away and the symbol just appeared in her mind.
The guys figure they want Anna for some reason other than her ability to hear their conversations. They take Anna to Bobby's ghost-proof panic room and Ruby creates hex bags that will hide them from demons and angels alike. Dean thanks her for her help and leaves her to watch Anna. Sam has discovered that although Anna's parents were seemingly normal, Anna had episodes when she was two and a half where she became hysterical when her father approached her. She claimed that he wasn't her real father and her real father was angry at her. They wonder what she's hiding but Anna arrives and wants them to talk to her. She doesn't know what the angels meant and they believe her.
They go to bring Pamela Barnes, now blind after gazing briefly on Castiel in his true form. She knows who Anna is and is ready to help so she can dick over an angel out of revenge. Pamela hypnotizes Anna and asks how she can hear the angels. Anna claims ignorance and says that Rich Milton is her father. Pamela takes her further back and Anna says she doesn't want to. When Pamela pursues the matter, Anna screams and the panic room door closes on its own. When Dean tries to calm down Anna, she slams him away. Pamela manages to bring her out of hypnosis and Anna says that she remembers now. She says that she's an angel.
Anna explains that she's not like the other angels and she was the one in charge of Uriel and Castiel. She explains that she disobeyed and Fell, becoming human. She ripped out her grace, her energy. Amy Milton couldn't get pregnant until Anna entered her. The longer she was human, the more she forgot her divine origin. Now Heaven wants her dead and Hell wants her for torture. Now she plans to get her grace back but doesn't know where it is: she lost track of it when she Fell. Realizing she means she literally fell, Sam tracks down a meteor that vanished over Ohio nine months before Anna was "born" as a human. Another meteor fell over Kentucky and they figure it's her grace. Ruby is skeptical and apologizes for bringing him into the mess. She warns they don't want to get caught between the two armies. She admits that she's afraid of Alastair, a grand inquisitor of Hell. She warns that Sam is getting out of practice with his abilities and he knows what he has to do. Sam refuses and Ruby warns that his decision may kill them all.
Anna is outside when Dean returns from taking Pamela home. Anna says they should get out while they can but Dean assures her they're not that smart. He asks her what they want him for and she explains they're not talking about it now and it happened before she Fall. He asks her why she wanted to become a human and she explains that humans have emotions and feelings and she wanted to obtain them… and refuses to go back to how she was. Dean can't understand why she'd want to give up perfection but she says that angels have no choice but to obey, and only four of them have ever seen God's face. The angels take God's existence on faith, and they're killed if they don't have it. All she did during her existence was watching, not interfering and never receiving orders from a Father. Dean can sympathize.
Sam finds reports of a local miracle in Union, Kentucky, where a full-grown oak appeared over six months in a field. Anna figure it's her grace and they head for Kentucky to investigate and get to the field. Anna realizes it's her grace and she approaches the oak. When she touches it she realizes it's no longer there: someone took it.
They take refuge and try to come up with a plan. However, Anna hears the angels again, giving a message that Dean either return her or he'll be sent back to Hell. She doesn't know of any weapon that will kill an angel. As they try to do research to find anything, Anna approaches Dean and thanks him for helping her. She admits she knew the price for disobeying and tells him something: she heard the angels talking a week ago about him and she knows what he did in Hell. Anna says he needs to forgive himself and he refuses to talk about it. She understands and says he has people who will help when he does. She then kisses him and they make love in the back of the Impala.
Sam has dozed off and Ruby watches him. She then goes outside and burns her hex bag. Alastair appears behind her and shows her the demon-killing knife. She says she's there to talk and offers him the angel in return for being able to walk away with the Winchesters. He considers her offer but has his minions grab her. He makes her a counteroffer as he strokes her cheek with the knife.
Dean returns to the barn to find Uriel waiting for him. He quickly realizes it's a dream and wonders where Castiel is. Uriel tells him their time is up and Dean tries to bluff, saying Anna has her grace. Uriel reveals he has her grace and the angels can't let the demons get her, or end her punishment. Dean refuses, figuring he's bluffing about throwing him back to Hell. Uriel warns him he can be replaced and Dean tells him to do it. Uriel says that Dean can break if the right pressure is applied.
Alastair is slowly torturing Ruby with the knife and eager to relish the moment. He removes her gag and asks where the angel is. She still refuses, saying he'll kill her if she does. She offers to show him and he relents.
At the barn the next morning, Sam wonders where Ruby is as Dean starts drinking. Anna wonders if he's okay, but they're interrupted when Castiel and Uriel enter. Castiel greets Anna and Sam wonders how they found them… then realizes that Dean betrayed them. Dean apologizes to Anna and she realizes the angels forced Dean to choose between her and Sam. She kisses Dean and thanks him for doing what he could, and then forgives him. She tells the angels she's ready and Castiel apologizes, but she notes he isn't sorry. He admits they have a history but she tells him to get it over with.
They're interrupted when Alastair and his demons arrive, carrying an injured Ruby. Alastair demands the girl and is unimpressed by the angels' threats. He notes that Dean had "promise." The fight begins but Alastair is immune to Castiel's ability to drive him out. Uriel disposes of the minions while Alastair chants in Latin… and Dean smashes him over the head. Alastair is distracted and gestures, sending Dean and Sam to their knees. Anna grabs her grace from Uriel and shatters it on the floor, reabsorbing it into herself. She tells everyone to shut their eyes and white light blasts forth from her. Alastair is shattered as she disappears.
Dean picks up the demon-killing knife and tells the angels to find Anna. Uriel says it isn't over but Castiel holds him back. The angels disappear and Ruby comes over as Dean wonders what took them so long. It was Sam's plan for her to get the angels and demons together and let them fight it out. Sam figures Anna must be happy but Dean doubts it.
Later, the guys are having a beer on the road and appreciating their good luck. Sam admits he's curious what Alastair said about Dean having promise but leaves it to Dean to bring up. Dean explains that from his perspective, he was in Hell for 40 years. He talks about how there was eventually nothing left of him… and they would restore him. Again and again. Each day, Alastair offered to end his torture if Dean took up the knife to torture other souls. For 30 years Dean told him no… and then gave in. Sam tries to reassure him but a crying Dean insists he couldn't feel anything.

Supernatural: I Know What You Did Last Summer

Season Four-Episode Nine

At a hospital, a woman, Anna Milton, is staring off into space. The doctor asks if she knows where she is and if she remembers what she did. Anna says she was trying to warn everyone but realizes it was stupid. The doctor pursues the matter and Anna insists it's all true: the Apocalypse is coming. Anna explains that Lilith is trying to free Lucifer but then seems to hear something. Anna explains there are 600 seals but Lilith only has to break 66, so the angels are losing and they're all going to die.
Later, an orderly brings Anna her meds but she wonders what happened to his face. His eyes turn black and the orderly comes in. Anna concentrates and shoves a case into him, slamming him into the wall. She slips out the door and into the night.
A seemingly drunken Sam is playing pool for money and losing. He turns it around, but notices Ruby at the bar and leaves the money to go talk to her. Dean is less than thrilled for her to be there. She tips them off that Anna has escaped and the demons are looking for her… with orders to take her alive. Dean isn't interested in anything from Ruby, but Sam decides to pursue the matter. As they make the three-day drive to the hospital, Dean wonders what Sam has been doing getting involved with a demon. Sam doesn't want to discuss it and brings up Dean's reluctance to talk about his time in Hell. Dean backs off, but Sam remembers…
Six Months Earlier
Sam summons a crossroads demon and it insists on seeing the demon-killing knife first. It refuses to bargain for Dean's life and Sam stabs it through the hand. Sam demands it take him for Dean but the demon says they have Dean right where they want him.
The Present
Sam and Dean arrive at the hospital and talk to Anna's doctor, who says the orderly doesn't remember anything that happened. The brothers are skeptical and the doctor explains that Anna simply flipped one day, overtaken by delusions that she saw demons everywhere. Among Anna's papers are references to "Raising the Witnesses" and the freeing of Samhain.
The guys go to see Anna's parents and find them dead, their throats slit. Dean recognizes some of Anna's sketches as the window from her church. They go to the church and find Anna hiding there. They try to talk to her and she knows who they are. She's heard the angels talk about them and knows that some of them think Dean can save them, and don't like Sam at all. She explains that she can overhear angels in her head. The voices started the day Dean was released from Hell. They figure the demons want her so they can listen in on their enemies. As Anna asks if her parents are okay, Ruby comes in and Anna retreats in terror. She warns a big-time demon is coming but Dean thinks she's lying. Ruby says the demon followed them, and they see a statue of Jesus start bleeding. Ruby says the demon is there and Dean examines the statue while Sam gets Anna into a nearby room for safety. Ruby says that Sam has no choice but to use his powers. The demon, Alastair, bursts in and Sam tries to stop it but it shrugs off his powers and tosses Sam down the stairs. Dean attacks it with the knife and the demon asks Dean if he recognizes him, saying they were close in Hell. Ruby gets Anna out while Dean finally recognizes Alastair. Sam tries to stab Alastair but doesn't deliver a killing blow. The brothers realize that Ruby has left with Anna and leap out a window to make their escape, leaving the knife behind.
Dean and Sam get to their motel to tend to their wounds and Sam wonders who the demon was. Dean doesn't answer and wonders if Ruby can be trusted. Sam insists they can and figures Ruby hasn't called because Alastair is watching them. Sam says they have to lay low and Dean wonders why Sam trusts her so much. He says that Ruby saved his life.
Six Months Earlier
A drunken Sam returns to his hotel room and two demons attack him. One of them is Ruby, in a new body. She takes the knife and explains that Lilith gave her one last chance in return for killing Sam. Sam tells her to do it and Ruby stabs her fellow demon instead. She tells him they have to go and they hit the road. Ruby wants to get something to eat but Sam isn't interested. Ruby explains she's a fugitive on Sam's behalf and Sam wants to know if she can help him save Dean. She admits she doesn't know anything powerful enough. He stops the car and orders her out. He asks her whose body she's wearing and she admits it belongs to a secretary. He tells her to leave it or he'll send her back to Hell.
In a hospital, a young Jane Doe is dying. The doctors disconnect her from life support, but she suddenly revives and asks for food. Sam is at a new place when Ruby arrives in her new (present day) body. She has a medical record proving her body was brain-dead, and she says she has something else for him. She offers him Lilith and he's eager to use his powers. However, she explains that Lilith is up to something big and they need to take the time to get it right this time. Ruby tells him to sober up and she'll teach him everything she knows. He practices on a captive demon but fails, and Lilith kills it with the knife. Ruby assures him he'll get over losing Dean but Sam refuses to talk about it. She reminds him she used to be human and remembers what it means to lose someone. She apologizes and then kisses him. He shoves her away, but she continues to come on to him and he finally gives in.
The Present
Dean is less than thrilled to hear about Sam's sexual escapades. Sam continues with how he found signs indicating Lilith was in town…
Five Months Earlier
Ruby warns that they're not ready to confront Lilith. When Sam insists on going, Ruby realizes he's on a suicide run but Sam shoves her aside and goes anyway. Sam goes to the house and finds a young girl at a table. The girl begs him to go home and two demons attack Sam. They say Lilith couldn't make it and knock the knife away. However, Ruby arrives and attacks the demons, and tells Sam to get the girl to safety. She kills one but the remaining demon overpowers her. Sam returns and uses his power, successfully forcing the demon out of its host body and sending it back to Hell.
The Present
Sam says that he couldn't have made it without Ruby. They're interrupted when a maid arrives with clean towels. She gives an address to Sam, who realizes she's Ruby temporarily in a new body. They sneak out the back and go to the address, where Ruby has Anna. Dean is forced to reconsider Ruby and admits he owes her for Sam. Anna wants to call her parents and Sam finally tells her the truth. She starts sobbing but then says that they're coming. They retreat to a backroom and Ruby realizes that they've lost the knife. There's a knock on the door and then it bursts open… and Castiel and Uriel enter. They're there for Anna and Castiel explains she has to die.

Supernatural: Wishful Thinking

Season Four-Episode Eight

A girl, Candace Armstrong, is taking a shower, unaware of a teenage boy appearing in the room behind her. As she turns, he disappears. As she dries her hair, his handprint appears on the steamed mirror. His footprints appear on the wet tiles as he approaches her. The girl thinks she hears something but doesn't spot anyone. She tosses a towel toward a rack and it lands on the head of the invisible teen. She screams as the boy apologizes.The guys are at a restaurant and Sam wonders why Uriel told him that Dean remembers Hell when he claims he didn't. Sam wonders why an angel would lie but Dean insists that he did. Sam isn't satisfied but drops the matter. Supernatural sightings have been sparse but Sam has a report of a ghost haunting a women's health facility shower and shoving a woman down some stairs. Dean insists on going to investigate.
Concrete, Washington
The brothers arrive in town and Sam meets with Candace at a Chinese restaurant. He claims to be a writer chronicling the supernatural and asks her about the ghost. As they talk, Sam notices a guy fervently kissing a girl and vice versa. Candace explains that she accidentally fell down the stairs and wasn't pushed, and the ghost helped her up while saying not to tell his mom. He meets Dean, who has checked out the women's health facility and Candace's house without finding any EMF traces. Sam doesn't think anything is going on but notices a hunter talking to the sheriff, insisting he was attacked by Bigfoot. The brothers claim to be FBI agents and has the hunter tell them what happened. They go to investigate the site and find very large footprints. The brothers follow the footprints to a nearby grocery store where the creature stole booze and porn. They also find a tuft of hair and they wonder if the entire thing is a joke. They notice a girl riding by on a bicycle and she drops a porno magazine. They follow and see her drop off a box of alcohol and porn with a note saying "Sorry." They follow her home and find her alone. they ask her if she's seen Bigfoot and she wonders if the creature is in trouble. The girl, Audrey Elmer, says that he's her teddy bear and thinks he's sick. They claim to be teddy bear doctors and Audrey takes them upstairs to her bedroom. She opens the door and reveals a giant teddy bear that yells at her to close the door.
Audrey explains that all she ever wanted was a teddy bear but now he's ill in the head, smells, and complains a lot. She says that she wished for it at the wishing well. Dean goes in to find the teddy bear watching the news and wondering why he's there. He's depressed over the fact there's nothing else in his life except Audrey's tea parties. The guys aren't sure what to do and ask Audrey where her parents are. She says they wished to be in Bali so they're probably in Bali. They explain the teddy bear is sick and she should stay with a friend of the family, and ask where the wishing well is.
The guys go back to the Chinese restaurant as a boy makes a wish. Dean makes a wish but doesn't tell Sam. Seconds later someone arrives with a footlong sandwich for Dean. They sit down and notice the same man from earlier still kissing heavily with the girl, and figure he's a wish recipient. The brothers wonder what to do and the waiter comes over to insist they can't eat there. The brothers identify themselves as health inspectors and shut down the place due to a rat infestation. They check out the wishing well but can't find anything unusual about it. Dean wonders if Sam wants to make a wish, but Sam doesn't trust it. Sam isn't interested in wishing to go back to his old life but he admits wanting to wish for Lilith's head on a plate. Dean notices an old coin in the well but it's fastened down. They try to pry it up with a crowbar and hammer but don't have any luck. Sam takes a rubbing of the coin and has Dean check it out while he pursues a hunch.
At the women's health facility, the invisible teenager is back but Sam arrives and grabs him. The woman runs out and the boy admits he wished for invisibility. Sam tells him to put on some pants and stay visible.
Dean sees the boy from the restaurant chasing after some other boys. He sees Dean staring and snaps at him, then runs off. Dean's stomach starts to rumble and he gets to the hotel where he starts vomiting. Sam arrives and Dean explains that the wishes turn bad. He's discovered the coin is a cursed Babylonian relic with the serpent Tiamat inscribed upon it. Tiamat is the God of Chaos and its priests made the coin to spread chaos, granting wishes and turning them bad. The only way to stop it is to find the first wisher: they're the only one who can pull the coin out.
At Audrey's house, Teddy shoots himself in the head only to discover that he can't die.
Dean is dreaming of Hell when Sam wakes him up. He takes a drink and Sam says he's realized something is going on and Dean does remember his time in Hell. Sam can't come up with anything to determine who the first wisher was, but Dean spot an engagement announcement article about the couple in the restaurant, Wesley Mondale and Hope Lynn Casey.
At Wesley's house, an overly attentive Hope fixes him a snack and says she loves him more than anything. He wants her to start doing things to make her happy and she starts crying that she's making him angry. The Winchesters arrive pretending to be florists for the wedding. They notice he has a coin collection left to him by his grandfather, but Wes denies making a wish. Hope returns with her wedding plans and the Winchesters realize what wish Wes made. They get him to explain that his grandfather brought the coin back from Africa and said what it did, but said no one should ever wish on it. They're unaware that Hope is listening in the next room. When Wes refuses to go, Dean draws a gun and forces him to go to the restaurant. As they're driving, they roll over the invisible teenager. Wes is satisfied with what he has and notes that the Winchesters have it easy. They say their lives have never been easy, but Wes is happy with Hope as she is and wants to know where all the chaos is.
As they pull into town, the young boy Todd uses his newly acquired super-strength to terrorize the other boys. Dean tries to distract Todd while Sam gets Wes to the restaurant. Dean tries to get through to Todd but the boy slams him aside. At the restaurant, Wes still wonders why they can't all get what they want, but Sam says that's life. He's interrupted when a storm cloud appears and fries him with a bolt of lightning. Wes steps over him and goes into the restaurant where he finds Hope. She's made a wish and explains that she didn't want Sam to force Wes to wish away their love.
Dean goes after Todd again but the boy is invulnerable. Meanwhile, Wes tries to get through to the love-obsessed Hope. He kisses her and says he'll make everything okay, then reaches into the well and takes the coin out. Sam comes back to life and Todd releases Dean. Dean pretends to be scared of Todd and warns the bullies away from Todd, then goes to find Sam. In the restaurant, Hope doesn't remember Wes and leaves. Wes gives the coin to Sam and walks away… alone.
The town of Concrete recovers in the aftermath of the wishing gone awry. Audrey's parents have returned and her teddy bear is back to normal (except for a wound to the head). Sam melts the coin down and the brothers depart. As they go, Dean admits that Sam was right and he apologizes for lying to him. He remembers everything that happened to him but refuses to tell Sam about it. Sam says that Dean needs help but Dean says that there's nothing he can do.

Leaving For Japan

So, tonight at 11pm I gotta be at the airport, ready to leave for a 1.20am departure on the 22nd.
I'm like super scared! I feel all sick, and I'm all hypo, and can't calm down, and it's making me feel worse!!
Hopefully I'll be able to settle down!
I nearly all packed.
Just gotta check everything, get it weighed to make sure it's under 20kg.
So yeah...

This is the first post for 2009! Woo!
That's pretty cool!
I've gotten most my homework done.
Well, not literature, or English.
But English I'll finish when mum gets home, and lit I'll take to Japan.
So it's all good.!

And yes, I'm sorry to anyone who bothers reading this, but I must mention Twilight lol

Oh, I think I'll mention this little random fact.
The other day while at Emma's place we were watching Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire (ahhh Cedric), and during the ball scene, when they're all moshing with that rock band playing, if you look carfully, when it shows Herminone dancing with Victor, Cedric is behind her! LOL
We called it a CD! A Cedric Discovery! lol
We had the movie playing in slow motion to pick up things!
I think we should have a name.

Before the New Year..

..I thought I should write on more entry.

I've been meaning to get on, but I'm too lazy and don't really get around to do all the things I intend on geting done.
But, here I am, typing this up! So all is well.
I do still have to put on my next Supernatural recap,, but I'll do it before the next episode airs.

So, what's been happening since last time you might ask?..
Well Twilight has been happening of course!!
GOD! IT IS SO DARN GOOD!
I am SO happy with the movie, and stoked for Rob Pattinson!
I imagined him as Edward anyway when I was reading the books before I found out he was to be Edward, so it all worked out for me!
He is soooooooooo HOT! :D:D:D
Completely gorgeous!
The movie is SO good also!!
I've seen it 5 times.
Saw the special advanced screening with Bec, Emily C, and Elly on the 7th Dec.
It was AWESOME!
Then I saw it with Emma, twice.
Then on the computer coz I couldn't wait to see it the second time with Emma.
And then at the drive in while the rest of my family saw Mirrors. (Thank goodness for the radio and headphones...)
So yeah! I really wanna go see it again!
I'm at quoting stage now.
Actually, I was at quoting stage after seeing it for the first time..
But believe me, it's real good!

I got the soundtrack for Christmas! (which Jack gave me, which I knew about before hand because I sat on it when I sat on his bed before Christmas! He shouldn't leave things laying around!! lol)
And the CD is great!
Rob sings on it!! I LOVE his song 'Let Me Sign', which is in Twilight during the scene when Edward has to suck the venom from Bella's arm..
It's real good!, but it's not on the CD.
But his other one, 'Never Think' is.
It's the song playing during the restaurant scene!
Anyway, I'm currently all obsessed with Twilight.

And, as I've been told, it's kinda unhealthy.
Cause I get so wrapped up in this imaginary world, wishing it was real.. when it isn't.
So it just depresses me lol
But oh well.
It gives me something to look forward too,, the next time I see it!!

So, in 22 days i'm off to Japan!
I can't wait.
I'm kinda like shit scared!
I find it hard enough to socialise with English speaking people in my own country, let alone Japanese speaking people in their own country!
It's gonna be freaky!!
And all their rules of ediquite and stuff,, what if I do something wrong and offend them??
So I'm scared as all hell!
But I suppose it should be good!

And I finally got a new iPod! YAY!
So no more listening to music and it dying on me after 30 secs!
A pink nano thing. The new ones.
It's pretty good.
And with me being the obsessive compulsive person that I am, I've had to go along and put album art to every song!
If I didn't it would have annoyed me!!
So yeah..

Can't really think of anything else at the moment.
I'm supposed to be over at Slap and Trace's place,, but I came home to quickly write all this out.
Once agin, if I hadn't have done it, it would have been pissing me off!
So I did it!!
Anyway, I gotta get some more beer for dad and head back next door.

Exams, School, Supernatural! (of course)

Yeah, had my second methods exam this morning.
Dude, it was hard!!
It was outta 54 marks. Worst case senario I got like.. 39, I think.
For all I know I did worse than that.
But I did get 89% on the non-calculator one. So that's not bad.

Now I'm all done for maths this year! It's fantastic! The most important exam is out of the way before I even start my year 10 ones!

I don't think I've ever spent so much time studying before. But now I am able to come home and go on the computer, or read, or watch TV. It's great!

And I did that oral presentation last week. Hence the reason I ended up with Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.
But yeah, I did it. I felt faint. And shaky. And nervous as all hell. But, apparently I didn't look it. According to Mr.Sharp anyway. But he probably just wanted me to feel better.. So I think he was lying.

So yeah.
OMG!
All Hell Breaks Loose, Australian Supernatural convention has been given the all clear. So far anyway.
Sydney 2009!
Emma H and I have decided we're going!
We will spend a week in Sydney.
We will meet Jared and Jensen and have photos taken with them.
We will meet them at the convention.
We will camp out front their hotel.
We will end up with a restraining order and put into jail for 3 days.
We will get bailed out by mum.
We will then proceed to reclaim our position outside their hotel.
It shall be grand!

Yes, More On My Books..

I have finished Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. They've been finished for a little while now. And,, because I just can't escape my new found obsession for now, I have decided to re-read them all again. But I won't spend all day reading this time round. Just when I have time, or when I want too. So I'll actually have time to do other stuff..
But I have finished Twilight again, so I'm gonna start New Moon tonight.
Now that I've read them all I have to say that I think Twilight is the best. Followed by Breaking Dawn, Eclipse, and then New Moon.
And I can't wait for this movie, although I really don't think it will be as good as the book. Which annoys me, because I want it to be amazing! But I really just don't think it will be.
AND, despite what everyone else may think, I reckon that Robert Pattinson is perfect for Edward. He was basically who I mentally had in mind while reading anyway, before I knew he was playing Edward. So I have no problem with that at all!

Season Four-Episode Seven

Two Days Before Halloween

The town is preparing for Halloween and a mother returns home as her husband Luke Wallace feeds their baby child. The wife puts the candy away and takes the baby upstairs. Once she's gone, her husband gets into the candy and has a piece. Flinching in pain, he removes a razor blade from his mouth and then collapses to the floor, spitting up blood. His wife returns to find him dead on the floor.

One Day Before Halloween

Luke's wife explains to Dean and Sam that her husband swallowed four swallowed four razor blades. Dean checks out the stove and finds a hex bag underneath the counter. Sam asks if Luke had any enemies or was involved in an affair but she fervently denies it. Mrs. Wallace points out that there are better ways to kill someone than planting a razor in candy he might not eat. Back at the hotel, Sam determines that the bag contains powerful relics suggesting a skilled witch, while Dean is unable to come up with anybody who wanted Luke dead.

Two girls are attending an early Halloween party and one of them, Tracy, goes bobbing for apples. She comes up with an apple and the other one Jenny wants to try. She goes down… and can't get her head up. They try to pull her out and the water starts boiling. Dean and Sam arrive at the scene and Dean talks to the other girl, who doesn't know any Luke Wallace. Sam finds another hex bag and they take it back to the hotel where Sam figures it isn't revenge, it's a series of sacrifices culminating at Halloween. The blood sacrifice summons the demon Samhain, the origin of Halloween. The ritual can only be performed once every six hundred years, and once Samhain is raised he can raise ghosts and zombies and every dark thing they've ever faced.

Halloween

Dean is watching Mrs. Wallace's house when Sam calls in. They figure there's some connection as someone had to deliver the hex bags. He watches as the babysitter arrives at the house: Tracy, who claimed not to know the Wallace. Dean checks in with Sam who discovers Tracy was suspended from school after a fight with a teacher. The brothers go to the school and speak with the art teacher, Don Harding. He says that Tracy's work had gotten increasingly disturbingly and wrote dozens of bizarre symbols and primitive killings. Sam shows him a symbol from one of the items in the hex bags. The teacher reveals she lives in an apartment alone as an emancipated teen.

The Winchesters try to find Tracy without success. As they return to the hotel, a kid asks them for candy. Dean refuses to give him any and the boy glares at him. They enter the room and find Castiel and another man waiting for them. Sam falls all over himself introducing himself to Castiel, who congratulates him on stopping his extracurricular activities. Castiel and the other man asked if they've stopped the raising of Samhain and killed the witch. Castiel warns the witch knows who they are and shows them a hex bag he found in the wall of the room. Castiel explains that the raising of Samhain is one of the 66 seals. The witch is powerful enough to cloak herself from angels, but the other man has had enough. Castiel explains that he's Uriel, a "specialist." Castiel says they both need to leave town as they're going to destroy it. They're out of time and the seal must be saved. Uriel explains he's purified cities before and they have to weigh the lives against the billions of others at risk. Castiel insists the plan comes from Heaven and it's just, but Dean and Sam aren't so sure. Castiel points out that Dean obeyed his father's orders. Dean tells the angels that they're not leaving, pointing out Castiel went to the trouble of breaking him out of Hell. Uriel threatens to drag him out but Dean warns that he'll have to kill him to do it. Dean insists they'll find the witch and Castiel agrees to give them the time over Uriel's objections.

The guys return outside to find that the kid egged the Impala. As they get in, Sam admits he thought the angels would be different: righteous. He wonders if this has been what he's praying to. Dean notes that it's possible not all angels might be good. Sam notices that one of the items, a child's bone, is charred with incredible heat, more than found in a fire or household stove. They go back to the school, figuring that the bone was charred in the art room's kiln. The hex bag appeared in their room after they talked to Harding. Sam breaks open a cabinet and finds more children's' bones.

Uriel and Castiel watch children trick-or-treating and Castiel notes that the decision has been made. Uriel suggests they get Dean out of town and destroy the place, but Castiel asks if Uriel's ready to disobey their true orders.At the Wallace house, Harding is performing a ritual involving a bound and gagged Tracy. He prepares to stab her… and Dean and Sam arrive and Sam guns him down. Tracy reveals that Don was her brother and smashes them both down with her powers. She explains that Harding was going to make her the final sacrifice, but now she's going to use her brother. She takes some of Harding's blood and proceeds with the ritual. Sam manages to get to Harding's corpse and smears some of the blood on his face and Dean's. He tells Dean to follow his lead as the floor cracks open and a black demonic mist flows out and into Harding's body. It rises up, a host for Samhain, and the demon advances on Tracy. It takes her and kisses her, compliments her, then snaps her neck. Samhain walks by Dean and Sam without seeing them. Once he's gone, Sam explains that in Halloween lore people wore masks to hide from Samhain so he gambled the blood masks would conceal them. As Samhain (still in Harding's body) walks among the trick-or-treaters, Sam figures he's heading for a cemetery to raise the dead. As they drive there, Sam says he might have to use his powers to stop it. Dean believes that Ruby's knife should be enough and gives it to Sam. At the cemetery, Samhain arrives at the mausoleum where a party is going on. He locks the students in and then the corpses start to emerge. They kill one student and Dean gets the others out while Sam goes after Samhain. Sam finds Samhain in the chapel, and its powers don't work on it. The two fight hand-to-hand while Dean impales zombies. A ghost arrives and throws Dean against the wall, and he decides to torch everyone. Sam tries to get to Ruby's knife but Samhain knocks it away. Sam finally tries to immobilize Samhain with his psychic abilities and expel the demon. Samhain advances step by step against Sam's powers as Dean arrives. Sam sees him as his nose starts to bleed, but he manages to expel Samhain once and for all.

One Day After Halloween

Later, Sam is packing up at the hotel when Uriel appears behind him. The angel notes that November 2nd is the anniversary of the days that Azazel killed Sam's mother and girlfriend. Uriel accuses him of using Azazel's profane blood despite the warnings. The angel notes that Sam will always remain alive as long as he's useful. He also advises Sam to tell Dean to climb off of his high horse, and to ask Dean what he remembers from Hell.Dean is in the park when Castiel appears next to him and explains that their orders were to do whatever Dean told them to do. It was a test to see how Dean would perform under pressure. Dean says he'd have made the same call and what is here and now is what matters. Castiel confesses he was praying that Dean and Sam would save the town. However, he warns that the seal was broken and they're one step closer to Hell on Earth. The angel admits he has questions and doubts and doesn't know what is right or wrong anymore. Castiel doesn't know if Dean passed or fail, but warns that Dean will have more difficult decisions to make.

AND, I would just like to say how upsetting it was to watch poor Sam when he met the angels. He's like the religious brother who prays and has always believed in angels and God, even when Dean didn't. And now Dean is getting all this attention from angels, and Sam is basically getting death threats from them! Like, how is that fair!! Poor Sam.

Supernatural: Yellow Fever

Season Four-Episode Six

Dean is running down the streets in terror as the sound of hellhounds in pursuit echo behind him. He stumbles across a homeless man and warns him to run before "it" kills him… and a small dog walks into view. Dean runs away from it in terror and it happily runs after him.

Rock Ridge, Colorado

Forty-three hours earlier, Dean and Sam impersonate Federal agents and talk to a coroner about Frank O'Brien, a marathon runner who died of a heart attack at the age of 44. There have been two similar deaths and the brothers ask the coroner to do an autopsy. Dean notices a wedding ring outline and Sam notices scratches on the arm that the coroner dismisses as caused when the man fell. However, the coroner doesn't find any blockages of the artery.

The guys meet with the town sheriff, Al Britton, who was friends with Frank. The sheriff insists on cleanliness, constantly washing his hands. He explains that Frank was recently acting jumpy and refused to answer his phone. Outside, the brothers figure something supernatural is involved, and the other victims had similar red scratches. As they walk down the street, Dean sees several teenagers and takes a different route to avoid them. The brothers then talk to Frank's neighbor Mark Hutchins, who says that Frank was freaking out. Mark keep snakes and crocodiles and Dean gets increasingly nervous. Mark explains that Frank got increasingly scared of everything, but in high school he was a bully. He got better over the years after his wife died 20 years ago, but Dean wonders if anyone would have wanted revenge.

That night, Sam gets into the car, startling Dean. Dean has determined that Frank's wife Jessie, a manic-depressive, killed herself and Frank had a perfect alibi. Sam didn't find anything at Frank's place. They drive back to the hotel but Sam notices that Dean is driving the speed limit and obeying turning laws. He then picks up EMF readings from Dean.The next morning, Sam calls Bobby and returns to the hotel to find Dean in the car with scratch marks. Bobby has confirmed that it's ghost sickness. Some spirits can infect people with a contagious disease, causing them to die of fright. The disease spread from Frank to the two other dead men who were on his softball team, and Dean caught it from the corpse. Sam tells him that he has 24 hours and all the victims were all dicks who used fear as a weapon. To stop the disease, they have to destroy the ghost. The Winchesters figure that Frank's wife is the ghost. Dean finally admits he was in the car because their hotel room is on the fourth floor.

Later in their first floor room, Dean is trying to read up on ghost sickness but starts to hallucinate accusations and insults in the text. He finally breaks the ticking clock and settles back with a beer. Sam returns, revealing he's discovered that Jessie's body was cremated and she couldn't be the ghost. Dean starts to choke on his beer and coughs up a wood chip. Realizing it's a clue, the brothers visit the local lumber mill. Dean refuses to go in but Sam insists so he takes a big swig of alcohol. However, he refuses to carry any weapons and offers to man the flashlight.Inside, the EMF detector is useless due to Dean's proximity. However, they find Frank's wedding ring and realize he was there. Exploring further, they open a locker and find a cat and Dean screams in terror. They find a badge belonging to a Luther Garland and an article on Frank's wife, along with a sketch of Jessie O'Brien. Dean accidentally sets off the conveyer belts and then spots a man crouched in the corner: Luther. Dean runs off in terror and Luther advances on Sam, who dissipates him with a shotgun blast of salt: Luther is a ghost.

At the station, Sam checks the Garland file while an increasingly drunk Dean hovers nervously in the background. Luther died 20 years ago of "physical trauma" and the deputy, Linus, doesn't know anything about it. Sheriff Britton is out sick and Sam quickly gets Dean out. Once they're gone, Britton calls in and discovers that the Winchesters are investigating Garland. He realizes they know, then starts scrubbing himself, drawing blood. He hears a voice telling him that they know and fearfully points his gun around.Sam and Dean go to the hospital to see Luther's surviving brother, John. He finally tells them that Luther was a kind man but a big hulking figure that everyone was scared of because of his looks. John admits he failed Luther. Sam shows him the drawing of Jessie: John recognizes her and tells him that Frank killed Luther. Jessie was a receptionist at the mill and Luther had a crush on him. When Jessie went missing, Frank suspected Luther and went to the lumber mill where he beat Luther then dragged him behind his truck by a chain around his neck until he was ripped apart. John tried to get community pillar Frank arrested but they refused to investigate the murder of the "town freak."

The brothers figure that the scratches are road rash from Luther being dragged to death, and he swallowed the wood chips during Frank's beating. However, Sam warns that they can't burn all the remains given how Luther was ripped up. Dean loses it, saying they must be nuts to hunt monsters. He quits and starts walking away… and hears a dog behind him. The cute dog chases after him…Dean ends up back at the hotel with less than four hours left. Sam tells him he's going back to Hell and it's about time. Sam's eyes glow yellow and he says that he's going to become a demon. He pins Dean to the wall and then starts choking him. It's a hallucination, and Sam manages to calm Dean down for the moment. He calls in Bobby, who has found a Japanese book on spirits, including a buruburu that infects its victims with fear. It has to be killed like a traditional ghost, but it can also be destroyed using fear. Sam calls Dean to tell him they've got a plan and Dean should just relax and ride it out.

Sam and Bobby go into the lumber mill as Luther watches them. At the hotel, Dean starts to hallucinate hellhounds again, trying to break in. However, it's Sheriff Britton, who demands to know why they're investigating Luther's death. Britton is overcome by fear but defends Frank, his friend, who he refused to arrest for Luther's death. Dean manages to knock the gun away from him and they struggle until Dean manages to throw Britton off of him. Britton cowers back in fear and then dies of a heart attack.Luther doesn't come out so Sam starts ripping up the pictures of Jessie. The mill machinery starts up and Luther grabs Sam. Meanwhile, Dean continues to hallucinate as the road rash scratches continue to grow. He picks up a Bible… and then sees Lilith appear on the bed next to him. She tells him it's time for him to come back to Hell and asks if he remembers all the "fun" they had there. Dean's heart starts to burst and Lilith tells him he's going to die. He wonders why he got infected and she tells him to listen to his heart.

At the mill, Sam tries to get to his shotgun but Luther yanks him away. However, Sam manages to grab a chain and wraps it around Luther's neck. He yells to Bobby to pull away and Bobby drives around, towing Luther by the chain. The ghost is destroyed, and Dean snaps out of his fear, the scratches gone.

Later, the guys are sharing beers and Sam explains the chain was made out of iron and etched with a spell word. Dean's back to his old self and Bobby heads out. Once he's gone, Sam asks what his brother saw and Dean shrugs and says it was howler monkeys and the other usual stuff: nothing he couldn't handle.

Then, at the end, probably the best bit, was Jensen Ackles lip syncing Eye Of The Tiger and doing the best 'dance' to it. It was truly hilarious!!

New Moon.. and other stuff

SO, I got New Moon the other day. Finished that in 2 days too. To be honest it wasn't as good as Twilight.
There was no where near enough involvement from Edward! And Jacob,, gosh he's starting to annoy me! But still., the last couple of chapters, probably 18 onwards, were awesome.!
So yes! And now I'm borrowing Eclipse from Emily.
Which brings me to 'other stuff'.
I have an oral presentation to do tomorrow in English. Which I'm dreading! Dude, I cried when I tried talking to the teacher about not doing it. I cried last year. I hyperventilate and go red AS! and completely freak out!
So this should be great.
So, in order for me to go ahead with this, mum has bribed me. Do the presentation, she'll buy Eclipse for me.
(She doesn't know I'm already reading it, and I feel really guilty.. So to make myself feel better I'm not reading that much until she buys it for me..)
But so far Eclipse is awesome!
And now I think I must go and do some stuff on this oral.. Argh!

Supernatural: Monster Movie

Season Four-Episode Five

Dean and Sam are driving into Pennsylvania to investigate a vampire murder but Sam is somewhat distracted by the upcoming end of the world. The brothers find themselves at Oktoberfest. After buying pretzels and admiring the local women, the brothers spot Sheriff Dietrich and approach him claiming to be FBI agents. He takes them to the morgue and shows the murder victim. He then directs them to the witness, Ed Brewer, but warns that Ed isn't reliable. They go to find Ed and talk to the waitress, Jamie, who directs them to Ed. They ask him for details and he explains that he was walking through the park when he spotted a man kissing the victim. Ed's description is a perfect match for the movie version of Dracula, complete with Transylvanian accent.
Jamie talks with another waitress, Lucy, who daubs her lipstick on a napkin and moves off. Dean and Sam go back to the bar and Sam notices the napkin. Dean figures that the "vampire" is an imposter and wants to just hang out at Oktoberfest. He asks Jamie for a date and then informs Sam that he's come back from Hell completely restored, and wants to get rid of his restored virginity. Sam goes back to the hotel and Dean tells Jamie that the case isn't weird enough for them to stick around.
A couple are making out on lover's lane while a wolf howls in the distance. A wolf-like man approaches the car then rips the man out of the car as the girl, Anne-Marie, screams.
The next day Sam and Dean talk to Anne-Marie and confirm that she saw a classic movie werewolf kill her boyfriend Rick Deacon. They go to the morgue and examine Rick's body, concluding that the murderer was supernatural. However, the killer didn't remove the heart, indicating it's not a werewolf like the ones they fought. Dietrich reveals that they've found wolf hairs on the body. They head back to the bar and discuss the fact that werewolves don't have actual wolf hair. Jamie comes over and agrees to a date with Dean that night.
At the Canonsberg Museum, a guard discovers that an Egyptian sarcophagus just appeared on the dock. As he calls for confirmation, a mummy emerges from the sarcophagus. The guard's gun proves useless and the mummy strangles him. The brothers go to the museum after the police secure the scene and discover the sarcophagus is from a prop house and the "mummy" used dry ice for its smoke. Dean leaves Sam to check it out and goes to meet Jamie. She takes off when he isn't there and walks down the street… only to find Dracula behind her. He corners her in a dead-end alley and refers to her as the reincarnation of his beloved. She sprays him with pepper spray and runs past him and into Dean. Dean, unimpressed, punches Dracula but the vampire quickly overwhelms him. The vampire calls Dean "Harker" but Dean yanks on his ears and rips one off, then yanks off his medallion. Dracula runs away and Dean goes after him. The vampire climbs over a locked gate and drives away on a scooter.
Back at the bar, Dean shows Sam the ears: it's the skin of a shapeshifter. Dean also shows him the medallion, which belongs to the same prop house as the fake sarcophagus. Sam figures that the shapeshifter is reenacting horror movies and Sam recognizes the names Mina and Harker as characters from the novel Dracula. It must be fixated on Jamie, meaning he's been around her. Jamie doesn't recognize anybody who might be acting strange, but does note that Ed moved in a month ago and her friend Lucy claims he has a crush on her. He works as a projectionist at the old movie theater in town. Sam goes to investigate while Dean explains to Jamie about the real monsters that roam the world. She figures out he's not really FBI and figures that his life must suck given all the responsibility involved. Dean admits it used to weigh on him… until he had a near-death experience. Now he admits that things are different and he saves people, and it's his mission from God. She checks to see if he's celibate and he admits it doesn't. They kiss but are interrupted when Lucy comes in. She came to get a bottle and wishes them well, but Jamie invites her to stay for a drink.
Sam approaches the theater and finds Ed playing the pipe organ. Sam pulls his gun on him and yanks on Ed's ear, only to discover that it's real.
At the bar, Lucy dabs her lipstick on a napkin and talks to Deana and Jamie, who start to pass out. Dean punches Lucy, distorting her face and revealing "she" is the shapeshifter. Jamie collapses and Dean breaks a bottle and tries to hold Lucy off but collapses. He wakes up, clad in lederhosen, in a basement laboratory that Lucy has set up. The shapeshifter is in his Dracula form and reveals that "Lucy" was an actress from a horror movie. The shapeshifter believes he's Dracula and all the other characters, preferring them to real life. Dean points out what happens at the end of monster movies, but Dracula is confident he'll write the ending. He prepares to electrocute Dean, thinking he's Jonathan Harker, but the doorbell rings. The shapeshifter goes to answer the door and finds a puzzled pizza delivery boy. As he pays for the pizza, Sam returns to the bar and finds the napkin, and realizes Lucy is the shapeshifter.
Jamie wakes up to find Dracula waiting for her. Still thinking she's Mina, he asks her to put on the gown he's provided and offers her pizza. The shapeshifter finally snaps and orders her to put it on. Meanwhile, Sam arrives at Lucy's house and slips in. The shapeshifter apologizes for scaring Jamie, who tries to convince him he can't make the movies real. He notes that he has spent his life being called a monster and his father tried to beat him to death. He finally found the great monsters of the movies and has taken on their strength by assuming their forum. The shapeshifter hears something and Jamie calls out for Dean. He knocks her out while Sam finds Dean and frees him, and they break through a fake door to make their escape. They find Jamie but the shapeshifter throws Sam through a wall and beats back Dean. Dean knees him in the groin and tries to go for the gun loaded with silver bullets. The shapeshifter throws him back… but Jamie grabs the gun and shoots him. As he dies, the shapeshifter admits that perhaps that is how the movies should end.
The End..?

Twilight

I have finally taken the time to enter myself into the phenomenon that is Twilight.
I've been meaning to read it for ages! but just haven't got around to doing so. But I bought it on Thursday, and finished it yesturday, Friday, and LOVED IT!
Everything about it is fantastic.
It's a novel with vampires! What's not to love about that?!
Not to mention how easy it is to fall in love with a certain character, Edward Cullen.
Seriously, the description to this guy, the vampire, just makes you wonder if there really is guy out there like him.
It's a real fascinating novel, and I'm dying to read the next one. Which I wanted mum to buy today. But she kept putting it off, so now I'm getting it tomorrow!
Or so I've been told. But I will get it tomorrow one way or another.!

Supernatural: Metamorphosis

Seasons Four-Episode Four

Sam and Ruby are interrogating a demon about Lilith's whereabouts but the demon is defiant. He taunts Sam until the latter forces the demon from the body with his psychic abilities. Ruby looks on with approval… and they're both unaware that Dean is watching them from the shadows. As he tries to reassure the human host, Sam assures Ruby that the headaches have gone. Dean comes in and demands to know what's going on. He realizes who Ruby is, in her new host body, and attacks her. Sam manages to separate them and Ruby takes the human host outside while Dean stalks off, angry.

Later, Dean returns to the hotel and starts packing to leave, then punches Sam repeatedly and wonders what Sam has been doing. Sam apologizes and explains that his way, most of the victims survive. Dean warns that it's a slippery slope and that if he didn't know Sam, he'd be hunting him. Sam explains that he had to find a way to fight when Dean was gone. Dean explains that Castiel wants it stopped, meaning God doesn't' want it involved. They're interrupted when Sam gets a call from a man named Travis about a man named Jack Montgomery in Carthage, Missouri.

Carthage

Jack is on his third steak as his wife Michelle looks on in astonishment. Later he brushes his teeth and suffers from sudden intense pain. His back contorts and twists in agony.Sam and Dean head for Carthage and Dean explains what happened to him in the past. He admits that their mom and dad were awesome, and Sam wonders what the point is of the Yellow-Eyed Demon bleeding in his mouth. Realizing he didn't describe that part of his encounter, Dean gets Sam to admit he knew about the demon blood for a year.

Jack goes down to get a snack, unaware that the Winchesters are watching him. He starts eating all the meat in the refrigerator, literally stuffing it into his mouth whether it's cooked or uncooked. They return to the hotel to find an old family friend and Hunter, Travis. He explains that Montgomery is a Rugaru, a flesh-eating monster that starts human and transforms into a demon that eventually seeks out human flesh. Once they get a bite of human flesh, they transform forever. Travis killed Jack's father, who passed on the condition to his son. Travis had hoped that Jack didn't have the affliction but has discovered otherwise.

At home, Michelle is preparing supper when she cuts her finger. Jack stares at her blood in fascination, but then runs out before he can give in to his new urges. He goes to a bar and starts eating all the peanuts, then notices a man hitting on a girl. Jack tells the man to get lost and insults him, then catches the man's fist when he throws a punch and breaks his hand. Jack runs off in horror at what he's done.Dean and Travis prepare blowtorches to kill the Rugaru while Sam returns with the research he's been doing. Some Rugaru have never transformed as long as they avoid eating human flesh. Travis insists they're fairy tales and every Rugaru he knows has given in to its impulses. Sam suggests they explain what's going on to Jack so he can fight it, but Travis disagrees. Sam refuses to kill Jack unless he does something evil. He storms out and Travis wonders what the matter is.

Jack returns home and Michelle is angry at him for abandoning her. He apologizes and she eventually accepts it and he starts to make out. He becomes increasingly violent, biting at her neck, and she shoves him off. He runs out, upset.

As they drive to Jack's home, Dean wants to know if Sam is going to follow through if he needs to. Sam insists that they give Jack a chance and Dean wonders if Sam is too emotionally involved. Sam tells Dean to pull over and then explains that he's been lying to Dean because Dean has been treating him like a freak. He admits that he does feel like a freak because of the blood curse, and he's trying to make something good out of it. Dean agrees they should talk to Jack and they go to his house where Jack is out watering the lawn. They explain what's happening and Jack admits he's been noticing strange things going on. Dean explains what will happen and that they'll have to stop him, but Jack orders them off of his property.

Jack walks the streets and refuses to take Michelle's calls. When he sees a woman undressing in her bedroom window, he climbs up and Dean and Sam go after him. Jack sees himself in the window and leaves, while Sam and Dean burst into the woman's room and make a hasty exit. Jack returns home to greet Michelle, only to discover her tied up. Travis grabs him from behind and chloroforms him unconscious.

Jack wakes up tied up next to his wife. Travis apologizes and explains that Jack will eventually transform. He tells Jack to explain and Michelle demands an answer. Travis tells Michelle to reveal what she told him: that she's pregnant. Travis prepares to kill both of them and Jack goes into a frenzy, transforming as he thinks of his wife dying. He breaks free and attacks Travis, breaking his arm. Jack bites into Travis' neck and rips out a chunk of flesh, then feeds. Michelle looks on in horror as Jack turns to her, covered in blood. He advances on her… and unties her. She tells him to stay away and runs outside to her car. Jack advances on Travis' corpse while outside, Sam and Dean arrive. They enter the house and see the blood trail, and follow it to Travis' mostly-eaten corpse. Jack attacks the brothers and knocks them out.

Sam wakes up locked in a closet, Jack is outside and tells him Dean is alive and Sam needs to calm down. Jack thinks that Sam sent Travis there to burn his wife alive. However, when he realizes Sam doesn't know about Michelle's pregnancy, he doesn't mention it. Jack starts lapping up the unconscious Dean's blood and realizes he can never see his family again. As he talks to Jack, Sam uses a coat hanger to try and pick the lock and explains that he knows what it's like to have a monster inside. Jack tries to restrain himself but reaches for Dean… and Sam breaks out. He grabs the blowtorch and sets Jack on fire, killing him.

Later, Dean tells Sam that he did the right thing and there was no going back for Jack. He apologizes for being hard on Sam and admits the psychic thing scares him. Sam would rather not talk about it but Dean demands an explanation. Sam says he has to deal with it, and Dean assures him he doesn't have to do it alone. Sam says he's done with using his powers: he's choosing it for himself, not for Dean or God or anyone else.

Supernatural: In The Beginning

Season Four-Episode Three

While Dean sleeps, Sam slips out and Ruby picks him up. She asks if he's ready and he insists he is. Meanwhile, back in the hotel room Dean has a dream of Hell and then wakes up to find Castiel sitting next to him. The angel tells Dean that he has to "stop it" and touches Dean's forehead.
Dean wakes up on a park bench in a small town. He tries to make a call on his cell phone but gets no signal. He goes to a nearby diner and asks a patron where he is. The man tells him that he's in Lawrence, Kansas. Dean asks him where he can get reception for his cell phone and the man mistakes it for a Star Trek communicator,. then wonders when Dean says that Sonny and Cher broke up. Realizing something is wrong, Dean looks around and sees everyone wearing 1970s clothing and a newspaper date of April 30, 1973. An older man comes in and talks to Dean's new acquaintance, and refers to him as John Winchester. Dean realizes the person he's been talking to is his father and stares. Young John wonders if they know each other and Dean quickly denies it. As Young John leave, he stares at Dean for a moment and then departs.
Dean follows Young John and runs into Castiel, who explains that angels can bend time and Dean has to stop something. Castiel disappears before Dean can get an answer. Meanwhile, John is buying a VW van when Dean arrives and convinces him to buy the Impala instead. Introducing himself as Dean Van Halen, Dean asks if any weird activity has happened in town and creeps Young John out. Dean apologizes and takes off while Young John buys the Impala. He heads to his girlfriend's home and sees him get together with Young Mary. He follows them to a diner and watches as they argue over the fact that Mary's father is over-protective and doesn't want Mary involved with John. Mary steps away for a moment and Young John considers the engagement ring he has for her. Outside, Dean is watching when Mary grabs him and demands to know why he's watching them. He manages to subdue her… then notices the charm bracelet she's wearing and realizes that she's a Hunter.
Later, Young John drives Mary home and drops her off. Dean is waiting for her and says he's a Hunter as well. He insists on meeting her father Samuel and passes the initial test. Samuel orders him out, saying he doesn't trust Hunters. Mary's mother Deanna invites him to dinner, where he spars with Samuel. He claims he thought something was after Young John and Mary notices Samuel's disgusted look. Samuel admits John's a nice civilian but Deanna interrupts before they can argue. Samuel is working a job at the Whitshire farm where farmer Tom Wiltshire died after falling into his combine on a barren field. Dean suggests they team up but Samuel would rather work alone.
The next morning, Samuel goes to the farm disguised as a priest and takes Mary with him. as they go in, Mary notices a teenager leaning against a tree in the yard. He finds that Dean is already there, disguised as a priest. He's been talking with Beth Wiltshire, the dead man's husband. Things were normal on the form. However, Mary is talking to Tom's son Charlie, who admits that his father used to beat him. Charlie says that a stranger came a week ago and asked Charlie what he wanted, and Charlie told him he wanted the beatings to stop. The stranger said he'd come calling in 10 years, but Charlie thought he was a nutcase. Dean figures Charlie sold his soul to a demon without realizing it. Mary gets a description of the stranger: a man with yellow eyes.
Dean warns the Campbells they're all in danger and tracks down the Colt, which currently belongs to a Hunter named Daniel Elkins. Dean gets out his father's journal, which has a list of everyone who was in contact with the yellow-eyed demon. Included on the list is the next victim, Liddy Walsh: the yellow-eyed demon's next victim. The Whitshire Farm incident is listed and Samuel wonders how it could be in the book: Dean claims that his father could see the future. Samuel admits he thinks Dean is crazy but Dean insists he's going to kill the demon once and for all. Dean prepares to leave but talks to Mary and says he thinks she and Young John are destined to be together. He asks her what she sees in John and she admits he's nothing like a Hunter. She figures Young John is going to ask her to marry him and she plans to accept, even if she has to run away. She'll do anything to get away from the life of a Hunter, have a family, and be safe. She insists he won't let her children be raised like she was. Dean makes her promise to remember to not get out of bed on November 2, 1983. She agrees and Dean leaves.
Dean heads for the Hunter with the Colt but finds Castiel sitting in the car next to him. The angel explains that Dean has to handle this on his own, and Sam's not looking for him. Castiel explains that if Dean alters the future, all the people they saved will die. Dean admits he cares about those people, but he can't let his parents die. Castiel disappears on him again.
Dean breaks into Elkins' house but Elkins draws a shotgun on him. Dean points the Colt at him and asks to borrow it for a couple of days. Elkins considers the matter… and lets Dean go. Meanwhile, Samuel mentions to Mary that Dean plans to kill a demon that is targeting Liddy Walsh. Liddy is a friend of Mary's and Mary insists on going to help her.
Liddy is meeting with a man who offers to collect something from her in ten years in return for curing her father. His eyes glow yellow… and Samuel comes in and shoots him down. The demon knocks Samuels's gun away and slams him into a wall telekinetically. Mary tries to attack him with a knife but the demon holds her off and says he's impressed with her. Dean arrives with the Colt, which the demon recognizes. Mary breaks free and the demon escapes out of the host before Dean can shoot it.
Mary tells Dean about the demon's interest in her, and Samuel compliments Dean. However, Dean tells Samuel in private that if they don't kill the demon, Mary will die. When Samuel wonders how Dean knows what he knows, Dean explains that Mary is his mother and Dean is his grandson. He warns that now is the moment when the demon fixated on Mary, and they need to work together to stop it. Outside, Mary goes to Young John and asks him to take her away, now. They leave together.
Dean tries to convince Samuel who admits there's… something about Dean. He finally believes Dean and they go back to John's list. Samuel asks to see the Colt but Dean refuses. Samuel's eyes glow yellow and he telekinetically shoves Dean back against the wall, immobilizing him. The demon realizes that an angel is involved and that even though Dean doesn't have psychic abilities, a brother or sister does. Dean realizes that the deals the demon is making is to get the children and breed them into his personal master race. The demon is still interested in Mary, while Dean notices that Deanna is trying to get the Colt. Dean distracts the demon by asking what its plan is. The demon boasts that his endgame is a perfect plan but he doesn't plan to reveal it to Dean or the angels. Dean dares the demon to look into his eyes and realize that in the future Dean will kill him. The demon doesn't believe it and then takes out a knife and stabs Samuel's host body. Deanna screams and goes for the Colt, but the demon throws her away and then advances on her. Deanna crawls for the gun but the demon grabs her and breaks her neck. Dean gets the Colt and gets to Deanna, only to discover she's dead and the demon has left. He realizes where the demon is heading next.
Young John is parked with Mary and offers her the engagement ring. "Samuel" arrives and yanks her out of the car, then breaks Young John's neck when he interferes. The demon shows Mary the lethal wound on Samuel's body. Mary vows to kill him but the demon offers her a deal: he'll resurrect Young John if Mary grants him permission for him to visit in 10 years. He refuses to tell her for what but promises that no one will get hurt if no one interrupts him.
Dean arrives to find the demon kissing Mary. He draws the Colt but the demon leaves Samuel's body, leaving it dead on the road. John comes back to life and Dean realizes what's happened. Castiel appears and takes Dean back to the future, while John and Mary look at Samuel's dead body.
Dean wakes up in his bed with Castiel standing over him. He didn't change anything, but Castiel admits it was impossible for Dean to change his destiny. The angel sent Dean back to learn the truth, then admits they don't know what the demon's endgame is, or how it involves Sam. Castiel gives Dean Sam's location and warns that Sam is heading down a dangerous road. He tells Dean to stop Sam… or they will.
